Growing up, art was my favorite subject in K-12 school. Once I graduated and entered the “real” world, art faded into the background and was dropped completely as I bounced around in life. After 5 or so years I finally turned back to art, using it as a form of therapy during the tough trials in my life in which stress was eating at me. It wasn’t long after, when I began to draw and paint again, that I had to stop and re-evaluate my life and decide where I truly wanted it to go.

Art. One of my very first passions:

Art has always been something I was exposed to, whether it was traditional or digital. Even during that 5+ year gap of my lack of production, I still continued to think about art as I watched multiple and various creations through other people. I have since combined art with a few of my other loves in life—animals, nature, and space being the top subjects of the pyramid. I hope to learn and grow as both an artist and person while having new encounters with those who share my rediscovered passion.

On a final note, to those of you out there who have encouraged and supported me, to the people who have added me to ‘watch’ and ‘favorites’ lists, to the people who have reached out and messaged me or who have spoken with me in person, and even to the silent viewers, I want to thank you all. Thank you for taking the time to include me and my art into your lives. I truly appreciate every single one of you. I also owe a huge thanks to a pair of very amazing people for leading and encouraging me to take the plunge and to begin openly sharing my art with the world. To Deanna and Lonnie, thank you for that push, for supporting me, and thank you for being a part of my life. To my boyfriend James for being a huge supporting pillar in my life and making those especially rough days better. To my mom and extended family for all of their love and added support. There really are so many people to give my thanks to. So thank you to everyone!
